Membership
The Hanover Fire Department is made up of private citizens from the community who volunteer their time and effort to respond to calls for fire and rescue services. 

 
Duties                                                                                                      
The duties of a Hanover Firefighter are often dangerous and physically demanding. They include:
  • Fire Suppression
  • Emergency Medical Care
  • Extrication
  • Weekly Field Training
  • Classroom Instruction
 
Requirements                                                                                         
  • Submit Application
  • 18 Years of Age and a High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Reside within the Area Established for Members
  • Possess a Valid Drivers License
  • No Felony Convictions
  • Agree to Submit to a Background Check for Criminal History
  • Attend Four Department Functions, Trainings or Meetings
